Sustainable & Certified Buildings

FN NANO® Sustainable Building Systems

Intelligent photocatalytic technologies for LEED, BREEAM, WELL and ESG projects. Active surfaces for measurable performance, lifecycle optimisation and a healthier indoor environment.

Sustainable buildings

Architecture is no longer judged on appearance alone

Modern buildings are judged not only on appearance, but on operational behaviour and contribution to investor and societal ESG goals.

  • Indoor environment quality

  • Material lifecycle

  • Operational costs

  • Air quality

  • Sustainability

  • ESG metrics

  • Smart Building integration

  • Operational efficiency

Sustainable buildings

What the system is

FN NANO® Sustainable Building Systems is an integrated service for architects, designers, investors and facility management companies. It embeds active photocatalytic surfaces into sustainable and certified buildings.

FN NANO® Sustainable Building Systems

The technology uses titanium dioxide (TiO₂) activated by UV light. Activated surfaces help break down organic contaminants, VOCs and NOx, limit odours and microorganisms, and sustain facade self-cleaning.

  • Photocatalytic coatings
  • Self-cleaning surfaces
  • Indoor air quality enhancements
  • UV protection layers
  • Antimicrobial surfaces
  • Smart Monitoring integration
  • ESG and lifecycle approach

Sustainable buildings

Technical parameters

Up to ~50% photocatalytic efficiency on single contact
At least 15% NOx breakdown on single contact
Up to 10–15 г. function on vertical facades
Up to 7 г. function on BioMax systems

Supporting LEED · BREEAM · WELL

FN NANO® technologies do not award certification automatically. They support projects pursuing LEED, BREEAM, WELL and ESG strategies.

LEED

  • Indoor Environmental Quality — VOC limitation, active air purification
  • Materials & Resources — extended facade lifecycle, reduced maintenance
  • Energy & Atmosphere — daylight optimisation

BREEAM

  • Hea 02 / Hea 04 — health and air quality
  • Durability & Resilience
  • Facade Lifecycle Optimization
  • Reduced Operational Maintenance

WELL Building Standard

  • Air — indoor air environment
  • Mind — comfort and wellbeing
  • Comfort — environmental comfort
  • Healthy Interior Environment

Sustainable buildings
