What it is

FN NANO® WOOD is an innovative photocatalytic system for protecting wooden surfaces, designed to extend the life of wood, reduce biological contamination, and limit UV degradation. The system creates an active protective layer that helps preserve the natural appearance of wood and reduces the need for frequent maintenance and aggressive chemical treatments. The coating uses active photocatalytic mineral technology based on titanium dioxide (TiO₂), activated by UV light — once activated, it breaks down organic pollutants, suppresses microorganism growth, reduces biological buildup, supports the surface's self-cleaning effect, and protects the wood from accelerated UV degradation.
