What it is

FN NANO® Transparent is an innovative photocatalytic system for protecting transparent and mineral surfaces, designed to reduce contamination over the long term, lower maintenance costs, and improve the operational sustainability of building and energy assets. The system uses active photocatalysis based on titanium dioxide (TiO₂), which on contact with UV light supports the breakdown of organic pollutants and prevents the buildup of biological deposits on the surface. Once activated, FN NANO® Transparent breaks down organic contaminants, suppresses microorganism growth, and supports natural self-cleaning under rain and humidity. After application, the surface functions as an active protective layer with long-term effect, reducing the need for aggressive chemical agents and intensive maintenance.
